Use case 1
The challenge
A growing Colombian IP firm faced a common challenge in the sector: managing knowledge scattered across emails, files, and external databases. Its lawyers and paralegals spent too much time searching for information in multiple sources, with the risk of duplication, data loss, and delays in customer service. In addition, the lack of technological integration made it difficult to take full advantage of the knowledge accumulated in the firm.
The solution
ThirdWish IP
We designed a customized platform that directly integrated Outlook, enabling automated extraction and analysis of emails and attachments. We added a vector database for semantic searches in unstructured documents and another relational/NoSQL database to manage files and clients. All of this was connected to an intelligent chat module based on LLMs (state-of-the-art language models), trained in a RAG environment to respond accurately and securely.
The results
In just a few weeks, the firm's lawyers went from spending hours on research tasks to resolving queries in seconds using the intelligent chat feature. The firm gained in efficiency, improved decision-making, and significantly reduced response times to clients. Security and compliance were guaranteed with encryption and access control protocols.
Final reflection
This firm took a qualitative leap forward in the management of its legal knowledge, demonstrating that medium-sized firms in Latin America can compete with large firms in terms of efficiency and quality, thanks to scalable technological solutions adapted to their reality.
